ExeKiller — post-apocalyptic cyberpunk western action game gets a gameplay trailer
Polish studio Paradark Studio has unveiled new footage from ExeKiller — a retro-futuristic first-person action game with western elements. The project blends the atmosphere of Blade Runner with classic western motifs.
The game is set in an alternative 1998 New York, 20 years after a catastrophe known as the Great Fire that wiped out 70% of humanity. Players take control of Denzel Phoenix, nicknamed ExeKiller — a bounty hunter working for the Helion corporation. His main task is to collect S.O.U.L.S (biochips containing information about their owners) and survive in a world ruled by corporations.
The game features a semi-open world with a central hub that expands as main quests are completed. Multiple approaches to missions are available — stealth, negotiation, or direct confrontation. ExeKiller includes a non-linear storyline with multiple endings, progression through weapon mods and upgrades, dynamic weather, and radioactive solar storms. Environments range from deserts and canyons to abandoned locations and irradiated wastelands.
ExeKiller is set to launch on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in the first quarter of 2026.
