Survival horror Code Violet is now available to select players, specifically those who pre-ordered via the PlayStation Store. The full release is set for January 10, exclusively on PS5.
Set in the 25th century on Trappist 1-E after a cataclysm renders Earth uninhabitable, players take on the role of Violet Sinclair, who finds herself trapped in the Aion bioengineering complex—a facility crawling with aggressive prehistoric dinosaurs and hostile forces.
Throughout the game, you’ll need to carefully manage a limited inventory, fight for survival, uncover the colony’s dark secrets, and search for a way to evacuate.
Code Violet combines tense survival gameplay, danger evasion, and resource scarcity with strategic inventory management, dynamic combat featuring both melee and ranged weapons, and atmospheric visuals powered by ray tracing and Unreal Engine’s Megalights. The experience is further enhanced by Sony’s immersive 3D audio and tactile feedback through adaptive triggers.
A full playthrough of the game is already available online.
