Creative Assembly has announced that its highly anticipated strategy title Total War: Warhammer 40,000 has officially surpassed 1 million wishlists on Steam. This massive milestone was achieved in just one month following the game's world premiere.

Developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA, Total War: Warhammer 40,000 was officially unveiled in December 2025 during The Game Awards. Shifting the series' grand strategy formula into the grim darkness of the far future, the game will take place across the vast reaches of space. The game is set to launch with four distinct factions: the genetically enhanced Space Marines, the brutal and numerous Orks, the ancient and technologically advanced Eldar, and the relentless Imperial Guard.
Total War: Warhammer 40,000 is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
