Dead by Daylight and Grounded 2 Are Also Free to Play on Steam for a Limited Time

Two more games have become temporarily free to play on Steam: Dead by Daylight and Grounded 2. You can play both titles until February 2, after which they’ll return to being paid games.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric multiplayer horror game where four survivors face off against a single killer in a dark, hostile world. Survivors play in third-person, relying on spatial awareness, stealth, and teamwork, while the killer plays in first-person and focuses on hunting down the survivors.

Each match takes place on a procedurally generated map with changing conditions, making every game unpredictable. Survivors must repair generators and find a way to escape while avoiding capture, while the killer uses unique abilities to hunt and sacrifice victims to the Entity. The game features a wide range of characters, each with their own progression systems, skills, and customizable items to suit different playstyles and strategies.
