Activision has dropped a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, highlighting the game’s second season and the BlackCell Battle Pass. Unlocking the pass will net players a new operator, a sinister alternate operator skin, two Mastercraft blueprints, 1,100 Call of Duty Points, and 20 tier skips.

Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 kicks off on February 5. Meanwhile, the game is currently facing mostly negative reviews on Steam. Do you think the devs can make Call of Duty a serious contender in the online shooter market again? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Black Ops 7 is set in 2035, with the world on the brink of chaos due to global conflicts and psychological warfare. The campaign follows David Mason and an elite JSOC squad as they undertake a covert operation in the Mediterranean city of Avalon, uncovering a complex conspiracy and facing the consequences of their own past.

At launch, multiplayer offers a wide range of maps for both classic 6v6 battles and massive 20v20 showdowns, along with a modern arsenal and the enhanced “Omnimovement” system. Treyarch’s signature Zombies mode returns in round-based format, transporting players to the Dark Aether with the largest and most dynamic map in the mode’s history.

Previously, we reported that the Call of Duty team is ramping up anti-cheat measures ahead of Season 2 and ranked play in Black Ops 7.
