Starfield will be released on PlayStation 5 in April 2026

Starfield may be released on PlayStation 5 as early as April this year. This is reported by the PPE publication with reference to the internal documents of the game distributor.
The standard and Premium versions of the game should be released on PS5 on April 7. At the same time, the official announcement of the release of Starfield on Sony consoles can be expected in the coming weeks.
According to data from Insider Gaming, all of this could be part of a massive update for Starfield that should improve space travel and gameplay.
The not-so-successful Starfield release is still hotly debated in the game developer community. Recently, the lead designer of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Bruce Nesmith has stated that the space game could have been the second coming if it hadn't been made by Bethesda.
Former Bethesda lore master Kurt Kuhlmann blamed Todd Howard for everything. He was a creative director, but he was constantly distracted from game design.
