The authors of Crimson Desert in the new trailer talked about the combat system and game progression
The developers of the game Crimson Desert have released a second video review of the game's mechanics. This time, the authors focused on the progression and the combat system.
Apparently, gamers will be given a choice of many different types of weapons. We are talking about swords, axes and spears, as well as serious long-range weapons. In addition, hand-to-hand combat and the use of elemental forces are available. By fending off enemy attacks, you can dodge and then counterattack.
The skills will become available to the hero gradually. You can improve your performance using special artifacts. But you can find or craft equipment right away. And what has already been received can be improved later.
The battles should be dynamic and quite fierce. At the same time, the game does not force you to act according to one scenario: both fans of fast, aggressive attacks and connoisseurs of good defense will find something for themselves.
Another important point of the game is the value of defeating bosses. After completing the battle, you can use the enemy's abilities.
Recall that in the previous video, the developers revealed three playable characters. The authors also showed an open world and talked about some key features.
The release is promised on March 19. The game should be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
