New Gameplay Video for Noir Shooter Mouse: P.I. for Hire Shows Boss Fight
IGN has uploaded another gameplay video on YouTube for the noir shooter Mouse: P.I. for Hire, which draws inspiration from retro cartoons. The new clip shows detective Jack Pepper facing off against a boss named the Third Wife in the Spooky Village location.
MOUSE: P.I. for Hire is a noir first‑person shooter with Metroidvania elements, styled after 1930s black‑and‑white cartoons. The game takes place in the corrupt metropolis of Mausburg, populated by anthropomorphic animals. Playing as war veteran turned private eye Jack Pepper, you’ll explore grim back alleys, underground bars, and heavily armed gang hideouts to uncover a conspiracy. The project features a single‑player campaign with 20 noir levels, a variety of enemies including mice, rats, and shrews, more than ten types of cartoon weapons, and numerous upgrades for the protagonist.
The game launches on March 19, 2026 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Earlier, IGN published a video covering the second mission of MOUSE: P.I. for Hire.
