First-Person Silent Hill? Debut Trailer for Silent Hill: Townfall Revealed

The February State of Play featured the debut trailer for Silent Hill: Townfall, revealing that the upcoming psychological horror title will be the first entry in the legendary franchise to feature a first-person perspective.

The game is set in 1996 on the cold, isolated Scottish island of St. Amelia. Players will step into the shoes of Simon Ordell, who arrives at a mysterious, fog-shrouded town to "put things right." However, he quickly finds himself trapped within his own nightmares and the haunting secrets of his past.

“Returning to the island of St. Amelia to ‘put things right,’ Simon Ordell finds a town blanketed in a thick fog. It appears abandoned, yet far from peaceful. As Simon explores the town to understand his connection to the place and its people, fragments of a past long-buried begin to surface,” reads the official game description on Steam.

The project is being developed by No Code (under the Screen Burn label), the acclaimed studio behind Stories Untold and Observation. Silent Hill: Townfall is scheduled for a 2026 release on PC and PlayStation 5, and the official Steam page is now live.
