SCP — Containment Breach is now available for free on Steam

The SCP Foundation universe continues to expand on PC. SCP — Containment Breach, a survival horror experience built on the Blitz3D engine, has officially arrived on Steam as a free-to-play title.
Set within one of the Foundation's top-secret containment sites, the game puts you in the shoes of a test subject trying to survive a catastrophic security breach. To escape the facility, you'll have to navigate treacherous corridors and find a way to survive encounters with SCP-173 — the infamous living statue that strikes the moment you blink. To keep the tension high, the game features procedurally generated maps, ensuring that no two escape attempts are exactly the same.
SCP fans have more to look forward to as well: Soem Studios recently announced an animated short film titled SCP: Gallionic with a new teaser trailer. While the project is in the works, a firm release date has yet to be revealed.
Looking for even more freebies? We recently rounded up six other Steam games that have gone free-to-play, including Cheliki, Sugar & Rolling Stone, Flailure, Theden, Star Shift Rebellion, and HWTC: Happy Worker Tool Company.
Will you be adding this one to your library, or is it a hard pass? Let us know in the comments!
