Fresh details have emerged about the upcoming Summer Game Fest 2026, set to take place this June. As always, fans can look forward to new game announcements, trailer reveals, and gameplay showcases.
The invite-only SGF: Play Days event, organized by iam8bit, will run from June 6 to 8. During this time, press and content creators will get hands-on with games featured in the main showcase, which will take place on June 5 (5 PM ET, 10 PM GMT). The opening show will be hosted by Geoff Keighley and promises world premieres, brand-new announcements, and gameplay demos. Tickets for general viewers will go on sale later this spring.
On June 8, the business-focused B2B event The Game Business Live will also return, giving industry professionals a chance to discuss major changes, challenges, and opportunities in the gaming market.
Organizers noted that last year’s show set a new viewership record, with over 50 million people tuning in to the two-hour broadcast. You can catch up on all the major announcements from 2025 here.
Meanwhile, French publisher Nacon is preparing its own showcase, which will feature two Lovecraft-inspired games and more.
