Ubisoft has announced a free weekend for its hit city-builder Anno 117: Pax Romana. Players can jump into the full experience from February 26 to March 2 across PC (Ubisoft Connect), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

To sweeten the deal, the publisher is launching a Twitch Drops campaign running through March 12. By linking accounts and tuning into participating streams, players can earn exclusive cosmetic rewards: the Callinectes logo (1 hour watched) and the Venusian Shell logo (2 hours watched).

Accompanying the announcement is a new trailer detailing the upcoming Year 1 Season Pass content. Future DLCs will introduce high-stakes mechanics like volcanic eruptions and the Cult of Vulcan, along with chariot racing at the Circus Maximus and the largest monument in franchise history. Fans will also be pleased to hear that the popular "Romanization" feature is making a comeback, alongside expanded river trade systems and new production chains.

Anno 117: Pax Romana is the eighth main installment in the long-running historical strategy series, set during the height of the Roman Empire. Since its release in November 2025, the game has earned critical acclaim, boasting an 84 on Metacritic and an 83 on OpenCritic.
