Neverness to Everness Sets April 29 Global Launch, One Week After China Release

The gacha action game Neverness to Everness has received a release date: the global premiere will take place on April 29, 2026, while the Chinese server will go live a week earlier on April 23. The game is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android with full cross-platform support, and will also be available on Mac.
Neverness to Everness is a free-to-play urban open-world action RPG with gacha monetization from Hotta Studio and publisher Perfect World Games. The story unfolds in the neon metropolis of Hethereau, where the supernatural has become an everyday part of life.
Players take on the role of the city’s first “unlicensed Anomaly Hunter,” who picks up paranormal contracts from Eibon, an old antique shop, and gradually assembles a crew of eccentric companions with unique abilities. According to the developers, NTE focuses on seamless city exploration, cruising through the streets in a style reminiscent of GTA and Forza, and stylish, fast-paced combat.
Gameplay and key features
- A “living” urban environment: stroll through street markets, hang out around the university campus, or hit the night highways as the city acts as a vast sandbox for exploration.
- Gradual “empire building”: the protagonist starts with a small-time business and can eventually move up to living in a luxurious penthouse above the skyline.
- Companions with personality: you recruit a squad of characters with vivid personalities and supernatural powers that change how you approach combat.
- Hunting anomalies: players deal with urban legends, cursed objects, and paranormal outbreaks, keeping the metropolis from descending into chaos.
The global launch will take place on April 29, 2026, one week after the Chinese release. The project is coming to PC, PS5, iOS, and Android, with a Mac version also confirmed. The game will support full cross-platform progression and cross-play across all platforms.
