Iron Gate Teases Final Valheim Biome With Grim Deep North Preview and Boss Summoning Site
Developers Iron Gate have released the final chapter of Hervor Bloodtooth’s adventure in Valheim, which explores the upcoming Deep North biome. While the warrior’s journey has come to an end, news about version 1.0 and the game’s final update keeps rolling in.
This latest video appears to show the summoning area for the last boss that will arrive alongside the new biome. The team also hints that players venturing into the Deep North will be able to discover traces of Hervor Bloodtooth’s presence there. Beyond that, the wintry region looks especially bleak and unforgiving, meaning future settlers will need to prepare carefully before setting out on expeditions.
Iron Gate says the Deep North is expanding every day, and promises more development updates in the near future that they “can’t wait” to share with players. The game also recently celebrated its anniversary with a sizeable 0.221.10 patch that added new items, emotes, visual improvements, and a host of technical upgrades and optimizations.
