Not Just Solid Snake — New Rainbow Six Siege Trailer Showcases Multiple Metal Gear Characters

Ubisoft has unveiled a new trailer for Operation Silent Hunt, launching in Rainbow Six Siege X on March 3. As part of the first season of the game’s eleventh year of support, the legendary stealth-action hero Solid Snake from the Metal Gear series will join the roster as a new operator.

In the trailer, the iconic spy—sporting his trademark bandana and stealth suit—appears on a new map, using gadgets to suppress sound and distract enemies, all while showcasing his signature stealth gameplay: precise movement, close-quarters takedowns, and silenced shooting.

The video highlights how Snake fits seamlessly into Siege’s tactical rhythm, going beyond a simple “guest” skin. His abilities are tailored for quiet infiltration and camouflage, rather than brute force firepower.

At the end of the trailer, Ubisoft reminds players that Operation Silent Hunt goes live on March 3 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, unlocking access to the new operator and seasonal content for all Rainbow Six Siege owners. The trailer also teases appearances from other iconic Metal Gear characters, including Revolver Ocelot, Psycho Mantis, and Gray Fox, who will be featured in special in-game events.
