Polyphony Digital is looking for employees to work on a new part of the Gran Turismo racing simulator. The studio has opened 18 vacancies. The required specialists hint at the transition to the active stage of development.

Gran Turismo is one of the most popular racing series in the world. Simulators have been released for 25 years, and platforms such as PSP have caught on.

Currently, 18 vacancies have been opened at Polyphony Digital. In particular, the studio needs testers and computer graphics artists. There is an appeal from Polyphony Digital on the specialist search page. It was probably written on behalf of the head of the company Kazunori Yamauchi.

In this message, Kazunori Yamauchi noted that the only reason Gran Turismo has lived so long is the love of the players.

"We are proud to have realized the ideas of the future as much as possible through art and technology. But I always think it’s still not enough to deliver the best experience to players…I want to create the future with art and technology. To those of you who have an insatiable desire to create. We look forward to your passion, technology, and ideas".

The Insider Gaming publication notes that the new Gran Turismo should not be expected in the near future. Given the speed of development of such games, the racing simulator may appear only on PlayStation 6.

Recall that at the end of January Gran Turismo 7 received a major update, which added three new cars, including the Xiaomi electric sedan.
