The developers of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire revealed the cost of the game a month before the release. In the US, the noir shooter will cost $29.99.

The authors also shared some other details of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire. For example, the duration of the game will be from 12 to 20 hours, depending on the player's decisions.

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is a 1930s cartoon—style shooter. A distinctive feature of the game is the black and white rubber hose animation. Detective Jack Pepper is voiced by Troy Baker, who is known for playing Joel from The Last of Us and Booker from BioShock Infinite.

The game was originally supposed to be released on March 19, but the developers postponed the release to April 16. It was necessary to finalize the project.

However, there is already an idea of what the gameplay will look like. In February, a video was released in which Detective Jack Pepper fights a boss named Third Wife in the Spooky Village location.
