Would you find a better use for it? An insider bought a website from Resident Evil Requiem and posted links to their social media

An insider of the Valve community, known by the nickname Gabe Follower, bought the domain from Resident Evil Requiem, which thousands of players could see. The new owner stated that he was ready to give up the site if Capcom approached him.

It all started when some gamers, while completing Requiem, noticed a website on the in-game computer: NEWDAWN-capcom.com. Then many people took it as an Easter egg or a hint of the studio's future game.

Users tried to go to the specified address in real life, but the link did not lead anywhere. However, it couldn't last long. It turned out that the domain was bought by insider Gabe Follower, known for actively following Gabe Newell from Valve.

As a result, the site became an insider's business card. It contains brief information about him, contact details and links to social networks. The logo of the Half-Life series is depicted on the background.

In response to questions from journalists, the insider said that he did not expect how easy it was to do everything.

Capcom has not yet contacted the owner of the site, but Gabe Follower said he was ready to give away the domain for free if he was contacted personally.

By the way, this week it became known that Capcom is preparing a full-fledged story DLC for Resident Evil Requiem. Work on them is already in full swing, but there are no specific details at the moment.
