Mega Man and Proto Man Are Coming to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
SEGA has announced the upcoming Mega Man Pack DLC for the arcade racer Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The paid expansion is set to launch on March 25 for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and consoles.
The crossover adds two iconic characters—Mega Man and Proto Man—alongside the Rush Roadstar vehicle, a Wily Castle track, six new emotes, and additional music tracks.
Looking ahead, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has two more paid DLCs in the pipeline: one featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and another introducing characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Additionally, three free racers will be added this spring: Red from Angry Birds, Goro Majima from Like a Dragon, and Arle from the Puyo Puyo series.
Released in 2025, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a Sonic-themed arcade racer known for its unique mechanic that allows players to warp between different tracks mid-race. In January, the game received the PAC-MAN Pack, which added two racers, a vehicle, and a new track. However, reports from February indicated that the game's sales have fallen below expectations.
