Unknown Threat Wipes Out Crew — New Teaser for Sci-Fi RPG Action Game The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Revealed

A brand new teaser trailer for the third-person sci-fi RPG action game The Expanse: Osiris Reborn has just been released. The video shows a brief but intense moment: chaos erupts on a base as an unknown threat wipes out the crew. More details are set to be revealed on March 26 during the Xbox Partner Preview showcase.

In The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, you play as a mercenary working for a security company whose mission on the Eros asteroid quickly spirals out of control following a sudden quarantine and a large-scale crisis that pulls the protagonist into a galaxy-spanning conspiracy. Players will create their own character, choose their background, customize their appearance, and make choices that influence the story and relationships with other characters.

A major focus is placed on squad management: you’ll assemble a diverse crew, each member with their own backstory, motivations, and personality. How you interact with your team will determine whether they become trusted allies or sources of conflict. The real-time combat system features cover mechanics, a variety of weapons and abilities, and allows companions to either fight alongside you or provide remote support, directly impacting the outcome of battles.

The action unfolds across multiple locations in the Solar System—from the Moon and Mars to Ceres and Ganymede—where you’ll explore politically charged zones, interact with characters, and deal with the consequences of your choices, shaping your own story in a volatile universe.

Previously, the developers revealed more details about The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, including that the game will feature 30-40 hours of gameplay.

Meanwhile, another sci-fi RPG called Exodus is also in development, with its first gameplay footage shown last week.
