Two major Nintendo rumors have surfaced from insider NateTheHate — one of the more reliable sources when it comes to the company. According to him, the second half of 2026 could bring a remake of the iconic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as well as a new entry in the Star Fox series.

Originally released in 1998 on Nintendo 64, Ocarina of Time is still widely regarded as one of the greatest games ever made, earning near-perfect scores at launch. According to the insider, this would be a full remake rather than a simple HD remaster — though that detail remains unconfirmed until an official announcement. The reveal is expected this summer, possibly during a June Nintendo Direct.

As for Star Fox, the report claims a new game is planned for summer 2026 and could become one of the platform’s first major releases during that period. It’s said to follow the classic formula, featuring “very appealing” visuals and online multiplayer support. An announcement may come as early as April. Star Fox is Nintendo’s long-running rail shooter series created by Shigeru Miyamoto, with the last main entry, Star Fox Zero, released back in 2016.

Notably, rumors about Star Fox surfaced alongside the recent animated project announcement for “Super Mario Galaxy,” where Fox McCloud reportedly appeared, voiced by Glen Powell.
