New Mortal Kombat Shao Kahn Statue Announced. Would You Pay $230 for It?
Iron Studios has unveiled its latest Mortal Kombat collectible. The new high-end statue features Shao Kahn, one of the most iconic and pivotal villains in the entire series.
The piece is crafted at a 1:10 scale and comes with a recommended retail price of $230 (approx. 18,500 rubles). Shipping is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
Shao Kahn is the eternal Emperor of Outworld, driven by an insatiable desire to expand his realm. More than just a powerhouse warrior, he is a master strategist and dark sorcerer, capable of consuming thousands of souls to fuel his longevity and might. His rule is defined by fear, brutality, and the absolute subjugation of conquered worlds. Notably, Shao Kahn is set to appear in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 movie, premiering on May 8, 2026. The character will be portrayed by British bodybuilder and actor Martyn Ford.
This announcement follows a recently released gameplay video of an unofficial Mortal Kombat Trilogy remake featuring enhanced graphics. Additionally, the second trailer for the Mortal Kombat 2 film surfaced online not long ago.
