«We know exactly where we are going»: The Division 3 developers have reassured fans that they are actively developing the game
Tom Clancy's The Division 3 is still in active development. Everything is going as planned, and parallel work on the development of the second part helps to learn important lessons. This was told by producer Fredrik Brönjemark.
The Division 3 was announced in 2023, but there is still no information about the release date of the game. This worried many fans of the series, but the developers assured them that the project was not closed, it was just that the team could not disclose many details.
Massive Entertainment currently has two active areas of work — development The Division 2 and the creation of the third part. This format allows you to exchange information about "what works and what doesn't" in real time. This puts the future game in an advantageous position, because all the experience gained while working on the sequel will be applied in The Division 3.

The only problem was the recent departure from the studio of Julian Gerighty, who for a long time led the development of The Division series of games. However, Massive Entertainment is confident that this will not affect the quality of the third part.
«We are operating and executing on the road map that had been planned and secured for some time already. Julian's departure isn't a distraction. We're happy for him and obviously sad to see him go. He was a friend. But as far as The Division 3 goes, we have our future and our roadmap that is already secure, and we know exactly where we are going and exactly what we want to do».
Creative director Yannick Banchereau added that ten years after the release of The Division, he is confident that the franchise will exist for at least another ten years.
«It is all about having happy players and a thriving community," he explains. "That is the main goal. If we have that, then eventually we will be able to grow the playerbase and have a strong and thriving community when The Division 3 releases and continues the growth from there. That's really what we see in front of us».
Are you waiting for the release of The Division 3? Do you think the authors will be able to continue the franchise with dignity?
