Stealth-Action Game Intravenous 3 Announced, Reminiscent of Metal Gear Solid 2 — First Trailer Revealed
Publisher HypeTrain Digital and developer Explosive Squat Games have announced Intravenous 3, an intense top-down stealth-action game inspired by the cult classic Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
The developers are focusing on tactical firefights and varied gameplay, where players must survive under constant pressure as they take on the roles of Steve and Sean—two characters at the center of a relentless manhunt. The game blends stealth mechanics with the option to engage in open combat, and the outcome of each mission depends on your chosen playstyle and decisions.
Key features include highly variable missions with different consequences, deep customization of weapons and gear allowing for diverse builds, and advanced enemy AI that reacts to sound and movement, coordinating as a group. The game also boasts an adaptive soundtrack that dynamically changes based on in-game events, heightening the overall tension of the experience.
“Step into the shoes of Steve and Sean: you’re outnumbered and must survive a ruthless hunt,” reads the official description.
The game is already available to wishlist on Steam.
Meanwhile, Konami is preparing the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, which was announced in February. Previously, the system requirements for Metal Gear Solid 4 were also revealed.
What’s your preferred playstyle in Intravenous 3—maximum stealth and sneaking, or aggressive tactical shootouts?
