Dataminers have revealed the appearance of the main character in Rockstar's canceled game Agent
The main character of the game Agent, a cancelled Rockstar project, was found in the leaked source code of Grand Theft Auto 5. In any case, that's what dataminers who have studied the character model deeply think.
Agent was planned as a stealth action game set during the Cold War. The player had to immerse himself in the field of espionage and counterintelligence, being able to navigate the open world. The game was announced in 2009, and it was supposed to be a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser revealed last year that the team was developing different variations of Agent. In particular, the plot could unfold in the modern world. However, in the end, it turned out that the spy thriller genre requires constant tension and a fast pace, but the open world cannot provide this.
Now there is information that Rockstar still managed to create the image of the main character Agent.
According to the dataminers, there are several reasons to believe that this is indeed the hero from the Agent game. For example, in the documents he is referred to as "Player", and the model itself is located in the "Jimmy" folder (code name of the agent) and did not appear in any GTA series games. In addition, the same model, but with different textures, can be found in the portfolio of former Rockstar artists.
