This means the game meets Valve’s standards for its handheld system: it runs smoothly with the controller, features a user-friendly interface, and delivers stable performance without the need for manual tweaks.

One of the key fixes in this patch addresses a bug that caused FPS drops when using the sniper rifle scope—a problem that could be especially disruptive during tense moments. This issue has now been resolved. The developers have also implemented further optimizations to enhance overall performance.

The patch also tackles several rare crashes and increases the game’s overall stability. Various graphical glitches have been fixed, and there are improvements to the interface and control systems. Additionally, the update includes tweaks to text and localization.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach launched on PC nearly a year after its PlayStation 5 debut. The game has received extremely positive reviews on Steam. Previously, the game’s graphics were compared between PC and PS5 Pro, and it was tested on various GPUs.

Have you played Death Stranding 2: On the Beach? How does it feel on the Steam Deck? Are you satisfied with the performance?
