Collectors Rejoice: Konami Unveils Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 Steelbook Featuring Snake and Big Boss

Konami has introduced a collector’s steelbook for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, boasting classic artwork of the franchise’s legendary characters — an older Snake and Big Boss.
This special edition is designed as a premium collectible for fans of the series, perfect for those who love to add exclusive items to their collections.
While the exact price of the steelbook hasn’t been announced yet, the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 Steelbook Case will be available on all major platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
The artwork features key characters from the Metal Gear universe:
- Snake — the older version of Solid Snake, the main protagonist of the later games in the series;
- Big Boss — the legendary soldier and a central figure in the franchise’s overarching storyline.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 was initially announced in February. The collection includes remastered versions of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD, and Metal Gear: Ghost Babel. Interestingly, reports suggest that directors have already been found for the upcoming MGS movie adaptation.
