The release of the narrative-driven adventure shooter INDUSTRIA 2 has been unexpectedly pushed back by two weeks. Instead of the originally planned April 15th, the game is now set to launch on April 29th.

The developers at Bleakmill cited the need for extra polish as the reason for the delay. According to the team, for a small indie studio, these two weeks are a significant window that will allow them to noticeably improve the final quality of the project.

INDUSTRIA 2 is a story-focused FPS centered on a woman trapped in a parallel dimension. Set years after the finale of the first game, the story follows Nora as she remains stranded in a surreal, machine-filled world. While the developers recommend playing the original before diving into the sequel, the new title shifts the focus toward a more "immersive and deliberate gameplay" experience compared to classic run-and-gun shooters. Key features include deep physical interaction with the environment, a crafting system, and a unique inventory mechanic. Players will have five weapon types at their disposal to take on robotic foes, featuring an advanced damage system where enemies leak oil and shatter into pieces.

INDUSTRIA 2 will be available on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.

Previously, the developers released a fresh trailer and revealed the official system requirements.

Do you think two weeks is enough for a final polish, or should we expect another delay?
