Brutal shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has attracted 12 million players
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has surpassed the 12 million player mark. It took about 18 months for developers from Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment to achieve this result.
The game was released in September 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Since then, the authors have been constantly working on the project, but achieving such indicators is still an extremely important result. Focus Entertainment noted that the result exceeded even the wildest expectations.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a direct sequel to the first part. Lieutenant Demetrian Titus has returned to the ranks of the Ultramarines to prove his loyalty to humanity and fight on distant planets. The developers have prepared large-scale battles for players against ruthless tyranids. Moreover, you can choose one of six classes, for each of which up to 25 unique skills are available.
Space Marine 2 has both PvE and PvP modes. They offer battles with hundreds of enemies, equipment upgrades, and opportunities to personalize armor and weapons.
By the way, the authors are not going to finish the epic story. Last year, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 was announced. There are few plot details yet, but there is already a video featuring Demetrian Titus.
