Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.69 Adds Three New Cars, Including a Chinese Hypercar

Polyphony Digital has detailed the upcoming April 1.69 update for Gran Turismo 7, alongside a fresh trailer. Set to drop on April 23, 2026, the patch expands the game’s roster with three new vehicles and introduces a new mode for Power Pack owners.
Here are the cars joining the lineup in this update:
- Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (964) '93 — A lightweight version of the classic coupe and a true holy grail for Porsche collectors.
- Yangwang U9 '24 — A cutting-edge electric hypercar from China, showcasing the pinnacle of modern EV performance.
- Renault Twingo '93 — The iconic European city car, perfect for quirky races and unique tuning builds.
The update also debuts the Power Pack Challenges. This mode is exclusive to PS5 players who own the paid Power Pack DLC. Drivers can now earn weekly rewards by completing a specific number of races within a set timeframe.
Gran Turismo 7 is a premier racing simulator developed by Polyphony Digital, available exclusively on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game features over 400 licensed vehicles and 90 tracks. The PS5 version leverages ray tracing, DualSense haptic feedback, and ultra-fast loading times.
