Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is described as an updated take on the classic pirate adventure of Edward Kenway, set during the Golden Age of Piracy in the Caribbean. The remake retains the core of the original but introduces a revamped combat system focused on parries and dynamic encounters, enhanced stealth and parkour mechanics, as well as smoother escapes and faster takedowns.

Naval battles are deeper than ever, with expanded ship controls and new firing modes. The open world is now seamless, with no loading screens, and leverages modern rendering tech—including ray tracing and spatial audio support. The remake also brings new storylines that expand on familiar characters, new officers to join your crew, plus extra activities and features like photo mode and sea shanties, making your journey even richer and more detailed than before.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced launches July 9 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Ubisoft is also working on a franchise-inspired TV series set in Rome.

What do you think of the system requirements? Will your rig handle it? What settings are you planning to play on?
