Can Omni-Man Conquer Earth? Invincible VS Story Trailer Revealed

Quarter Up has released a new trailer for Invincible VS, the upcoming fighting game based on the Invincible comic and animated series. This latest look focuses on the game’s Story Mode.

Billed as an "original adventure from the series' creators," the story mode introduces an alternate timeline where Omni-Man remains loyal to Viltrum. In this version of events, he leads a full-scale invasion of Earth alongside four other Viltrumites: Conquest, Thula, Lucan, and Anissa. The technical execution of the campaign is particularly impressive; instead of the static images and text often seen in the genre, players are treated to dynamic, fully voiced cutscenes. For a mid-budget project, the visual fidelity and overall presentation look remarkably polished.

The development team includes writers from the animated series as well as industry veterans known for their work on the 2013 Killer Instinct reboot. Additionally, the soundtrack is being handled by the electronic music duo The Glitch Mob.

Invincible VS is set to launch on April 30, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
