Release Date Announced for Genshin Impact's Russia-Inspired Region — Players Get a Primogem Promo Code

Genshin Impact is gearing up for one of its most anticipated updates yet — HoYoverse has officially unveiled the Snezhnaya region, set to launch on August 12, 2026.

The announcement was made during a special livestream, where fans got a first look at the atmosphere and key features of the new area. Snezhnaya, a region players have been hearing about since the game’s release in 2020, draws inspiration from the Russian Empire and Slavic culture. At the heart of its story is the mysterious Tsaritsa, ruler of Snezhnaya and one of the most intriguing figures in the game’s lore.

To celebrate the reveal, the developers also shared a gift for the community — a promo code for 200 Primogems. You can redeem it either in-game or on the official website until April 27, 2026.

The release of Snezhnaya will mark the final chapter in Genshin Impact’s long journey across Teyvat, a journey players have been on for nearly six years.
