Life is Strange Devs Drop New Trailer for Sci-Fi Adventure Aphelion
Don't Nod, the studio celebrated for the Life is Strange series and Vampyr, has debuted a brand-new trailer for its upcoming title, Aphelion. The latest footage is titled Ariane's Log.
Aphelion is a third-person sci-fi adventure that transports players to the year 2060 on the frozen planet Persephone—humanity's final hope following an ecological collapse on Earth. Players will control two astronauts, Ariadne and Thomas, whose gameplay styles are worlds apart. Ariadne specializes in high-octane parkour and climbing, while Thomas focuses on deep exploration and puzzle-solving. To ensure scientific accuracy, the game is being developed in collaboration with real-world scientists from the ESA.
Aphelion is set to launch on April 28, 2026, for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Earlier this year, we saw the release of Life is Strange: Reunion, a sequel to Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
