Steam announces a game about “alcoholic Russian roulette with a spicy demon girl” — and losing costs you your soul

Indie publisher Alliance Arts has revealed PUKEY GODDES SHOT TRICK — a bizarre mix of Russian roulette and a drinking simulator, where the player must survive a deadly game against a demoness obsessed with the protagonist.

The story takes place in the hellish bar “Pandemonium.” The protagonist ends up there by accident and encounters Pham Sul — a demon of alcohol who is so “in love” that she’s willing to kill him just to keep him forever. The entire game revolves around this confrontation, where the stakes are nothing less than the character’s soul.

Gameplay is built around a survival-style drinking duel: participants take turns choosing shots with different levels of strength, and as intoxication increases, new abilities begin to unlock. The worse the character’s condition gets, the more they can bend the rules — from adding new drinks to attempting drastic ways to “sober up.”

The developers promise a system of “drunken tricks” that can be used to outplay the demoness — for example, pushing her to a point where she’s the first to lose control and give up.

Beyond that, the game will feature a fully 3D bar environment to explore, with hidden secrets and multiple endings — more than seven are planned.

PUKEY GODDES SHOT TRICK is expected to release in 2026 on Steam. The project is already available to wishlist.

Judging by the description, the game leans heavily into absurdity and dark humor rather than realism — the only question is how far the developers are willing to push it.
