Hyper-Realistic Visuals: New Trailer Drops for Bodycam Shooter Better Than Dead

MicroProse Software has released a brand-new trailer for Better Than Dead, confirming the tactical bodycam shooter’s release date. The project is set to launch into Steam Early Access on July 15, 2026.

In Better Than Dead, players step into the shoes of a former captive hunting down her kidnappers. The entire experience is captured through a gritty, chest-mounted bodycam lens. Heavily inspired by classic Hong Kong action cinema, the game stands out with its extreme violence and stunning photorealistic graphics. According to the Steam page, the game will launch with 14 levels, with more missions and new modes planned throughout the Early Access period.

To run the game, you'll need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-9400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 590 graphics card.

In other shooter news, the release date was recently announced for Luna Abyss, a dark sci-fi title described as a blend of Doom and Dead Space. Additionally, the creators of Verdun just revealed a new trailer for their realistic military shooter Gallipoli.
