Goro Majima Joins Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as Free DLC Character

SEGA has announced that the arcade racer Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set to receive the free Captain Majima content drop on April 29, bringing a fan-favorite guest character to the roster.
The update includes:
- Goro Majima from the Like a Dragon series as a playable character;
- The "Goromaru" racing vehicle;
- Exclusive character emotes.
In addition to the new content, Steam players can jump into a "Free Weekend" starting April 30 and running through May 4. For those looking to keep the game, a 40% discount will be available on Valve’s storefront until May 7.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). This update follows the release of the paid Mega Man Pack in mid-March, which added Mega Man and Proto Man, the Rush Roadstar vehicle, the Wily Castle track, and various cosmetics.
Elsewhere in the world of SEGA, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 was recently delisted from the Nintendo eShop. Meanwhile, rumors continue to swirl regarding an upcoming Sonic Frontiers: Definitive Edition—an enhanced version of the 2022 open-zone platformer.
