CarX Street Update Adds New Rides, Quests, and Dynamic Weather
The PC and console versions of the open-world racer CarX Street have received a major update, headlined by the introduction of a dynamic weather system. Check out the trailer below for a look at the new features in action.
According to the developers, the new weather system makes the world feel more alive and realistic, adding a layer of immersion to the gameplay. Rain doesn't just create puddles; it actively affects car physics. Wet asphalt reduces grip, making handling significantly more challenging. For those who prefer a more consistent experience, the devs noted that the updated physics can be toggled off.
The update also introduces story-driven drift quests and three new vehicles: the BM2R, SZC, and ARG. Competitive players can also jump into new drag races within the Time Attack mode. On the quality-of-life front, the patch adds the ability to sell multiple cars at once, shows opponents on the mini-map during Time Attack, and allows players to create custom car categories. Additionally, the "white flash" effect after collisions has been fixed.
CarX Street is an open-world racer featuring multiplayer and deep car customization. Originally a mobile-only title for Android and iOS, it has since expanded to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
In other racing news, the free-to-play licensed racer Race Max Pro recently launched on Steam.
