The co-op shooter Far Far West has officially launched in Steam Early Access. To celebrate the release, the game is available at a 10% discount until May 5.

Far Far West is a first-person co-op shooter set in an alternate version of the Wild West. Players step into the boots of bounty hunters tasked with taking down mystical monsters, ranging from lowly skeletons to massive bosses. The game is built around four-player team-based action as squads work together to complete high-stakes contracts. Combat combines traditional firearms with powerful magic, allowing for unique elemental combos. For instance, one player can freeze an enemy while another shatters them with a well-placed shot or a magical strike. Each mission follows an extraction-based loop: head out on a job, gather valuable loot, and make it to the extraction point alive.

Early reviews for Far Far West are "Overwhelmingly Positive," boasting a 97% rating on Steam. Players are praising the addictive gameplay loop, solid optimization, satisfying combat, and vibrant visuals, alongside its diverse enemy types and refreshing setting.

In other news, the co-op shooter Serious Sam: Shatterverse was announced for PC and consoles back in March.
