Morrowind’s Ald'ruhn Stunningly Reimagined in Unreal Engine 5.7.4
YouTuber Leo Torres has released a new video showcasing the city of Ald'ruhn from The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, fully rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5.7 utilizing Lumen and Nanite technologies.
The video is part of Torres’ ongoing large-scale project to recreate the cities of Tamriel within UE5. For this latest showcase, the enthusiast utilized Unreal Engine 5.7.4 running on an RTX 3090. To bring the Redoran capital to life, Torres combined third-party assets with his own custom models created in Blender. The project leverages Nanite for all geometry and foliage rendering, while Lumen handles real-time global illumination and reflections. Temporal Super Resolution (TSR) was also employed to ensure smooth image quality.
It’s important to note that this fan project is not available for download; it was created specifically as a portfolio piece for the artist. Previously, Torres has received acclaim for his UE5 recreations of iconic locations from both Skyrim and Oblivion.
In related news, several new screenshots were recently shared for Skyblivion, the highly anticipated unofficial remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion currently being built within the The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition engine.
