Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era recouped its costs within the first 24 hours

Developers from Unfrozen Studio announced that Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era sold more than 250,000 copies in its first 24 hours. According to the team, that was enough to fully recoup development costs.
The developers thanked players for their support, patience, and interest in the new entry in the cult series. The studio also noted that Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era reached first place on the Steam chart. At the time of writing, Olden Era’s peak concurrent player count exceeds 50,000. The game also has more than 3,300 reviews on Steam, most of them positive. The developers encouraged players to leave more feedback: based on it, the team plans to fix bugs, adjust balance, and improve the game during early access.
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is a new entry in the legendary turn-based strategy series, primarily inspired by the classic Heroes of Might and Magic 3. At the start of early access, players are offered a story campaign, Skirmish and Arena modes, multiplayer, a map editor, and six factions. The game takes place on Jadame, a continent in the world of Enroth familiar to Might and Magic fans.
Until May 14, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era can be purchased in the Russian Steam region at a discount for 1,124 rubles. The game is available on PC via Steam, Microsoft Store, and PC Game Pass.
