Subnautica 2 Gameplay Trailer Revealed: Underwater Survival Powered by Unreal Engine 5
Unknown Worlds Entertainment has released a brand-new gameplay trailer for its upcoming underwater survival adventure, Subnautica 2, which is set to launch in Early Access on May 14th.
Subnautica 2 is the next chapter in the hit survival series, whisking players away to an entirely new alien world. Much like the original, the sequel doubles down on exploring mysterious oceanic depths, but this time with a major addition: four-player co-op. The developers have crafted a suite of all-new biomes, ranging from shallow coral forests to bottomless trenches. The world features increased verticality and more complex ecosystems, where creatures interact more realistically with each other and the player. Built on Unreal Engine 5, Subnautica 2 boasts stunningly realistic water and lighting, highly detailed creature models, and enhanced physics.
Earlier, the game's official system requirements surfaced online, following the release of an atmospheric cinematic trailer.
