Forza Horizon 6 is now available on PC and Xbox Series X/S for all players

The general release of the racing simulator Forza Horizon 6 has taken place. The game is now available to all players, not just the owners of the Premium edition.

The limited release of the new Forza Horizon took place on May 15th. To get access, you had to buy the Premium edition for $140. Subscribers of the Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass services also had the opportunity to pay an additional $60.

Despite the rather high price, on the very first day of early access, the game broke the series' online record on Steam. In just a few minutes, Forza Horizon 6 managed to achieve a peak online presence of 120,000 players. For comparison, the extremely successful Forza Horizon 5 simultaneously gathered no more than 81,000 players.

According to SteamDB, the general release took place just half an hour ago. There are 132 thousand gamers online on Steam right now. This indicator is likely to grow. In addition, it is assumed that Forza Horizon 6 will be able to beat the record of the previous part in terms of the number of players. More than 10 million people played Forza Horizon 5 in the first week.

By the way, earlier there was a leak of the PC version of Forza Horizon 6. Hackers hacked the game and published it on illegal sites. Playground Games reacted to the situation quite quickly. The studio announced that all players who launch the merged version before the official release may receive a permanent account lock.
