Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 Release Date Announced
KING Art Games has dropped a brand-new trailer and officially locked in the release date for their highly anticipated RTS, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4. Mark your calendars for September 17th, as pre-orders are officially live on Steam.
Players can choose between two versions: the Standard Edition for $60 and the Commander Edition for $90. Opting for the premium tier grants you the Year 1 Expansion Season Pass, packed with the digital soundtrack and two major upcoming DLCs. These include the Blood Ravens Story Prologue—a narrative campaign centered around the critical events on Aurelia that also adds a new commander for both Last Stand and Crusade modes—and the Aftermath Campaign Expansion, which continues the main story and introduces even more commanders.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 is a sci-fi real-time strategy game serving as a massive soft reboot and a true return to form for the franchise. The developers have completely scrapped the MOBA-esque elements of the third installment, pivotally steering the gameplay back to classic RTS roots with robust base-building, deep tactical planning, and large-scale warfare.
