Players May Have Discovered Part of Xbox’s Future Showcase Lineup Thanks to a Game Pass Update

It looks like Microsoft may have accidentally hinted at part of the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase 2026 lineup ahead of the official presentation. Players recently noticed that several major unreleased titles suddenly appeared in the “Coming Soon to Game Pass” section, despite still lacking official release dates. With the showcase right around the corner, the discovery quickly sparked speculation about possible announcements and new trailers.

The changes were first spotted by users on Reddit. According to them, the upcoming Game Pass lineup now includes Clockwork Revolution, Fable, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Tropico 7, Witchbrook, There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, and Armatus. Fans were especially intrigued by the fact that many of these games have barely appeared in recent news cycles and are still officially listed as “TBA” without even a release window.

As a result, many players believe Microsoft may already be preparing the Game Pass backend for major reveals during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7. For a lot of fans, the sudden appearance of so many unconfirmed Game Pass titles at once feels far too deliberate to be a coincidence.

Naturally, Fable and Clockwork Revolution are generating the most discussion. The Fable reboot remains one of Xbox’s most anticipated first-party projects, and the game was recently rated in South Korea — something that often hints at an approaching marketing push or release date announcement. Meanwhile, Clockwork Revolution has been largely absent since its original reveal, leaving fans eager for a proper gameplay showcase.

Witchbrook is also attracting plenty of attention. Chucklefish’s pixel-art RPG has been in development for more than a decade and has practically become legendary among fans of cozy indie games. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy also seems like a likely candidate for the showcase after Asobo Studio recently introduced it as a prequel to the A Plague Tale series.

So far, Microsoft has not commented on the situation, and the Game Pass listings themselves shouldn’t be treated as official confirmation of the showcase lineup. Even so, many fans are convinced that at least some of these games will appear during Xbox Games Showcase 2026, where new trailers, release dates, and possibly a few surprise announcements are expected.

Following the main presentation, Microsoft will also host a dedicated showcase focused entirely on Gears of War: E-Day.

Which game are you most excited to see at Xbox Games Showcase 2026 — Fable, Clockwork Revolution, or something else entirely?
