Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Delayed to 2027

The rumors are true: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, the official remake of the original Tomb Raider, has been delayed to 2027. The game is now scheduled to launch on February 10 for PC and consoles.

New details have also emerged regarding the Deluxe Edition of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. It will include the Parisian bonus outfit for Lara Croft and a post-launch story DLC. Additionally, Deluxe Edition owners will get 42-hour early access ahead of the official release. Meanwhile, anyone who pre-orders any edition of the game will receive the Survivor skin.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a complete reimagining of the very first game, built from the ground up on Unreal Engine 5. The project is being developed by Flying Wild Hog, the studio behind Shadow Warrior, and is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Earlier, a batch of new screenshots surfaced online, showcasing the iconic protagonist, dinosaurs, and ancient ruins.

As a side note, a live-action Tomb Raider TV series is currently in production, starring Sophie Turner as Lara Croft. Set photos from the upcoming show recently leaked online.
