Rayman Legends Retold Announced: Fan-Favorite Platformer Gets a Stunning 3D Remake
Ubisoft has officially revealed Rayman Legends Retold—a full-fledged remake of the critically acclaimed 2013 platformer. The announcement debuted during June's PlayStation State of Play presentation.
The biggest shift for Rayman Legends Retold is the jump to full 3D graphics. Powered by the Snowdrop engine, the game plays like an interactive animated film featuring volumetric lighting, highly detailed textures, and fully modeled 3D characters. On top of the visual overhaul, the developers are promising plenty of fresh content, including a brand-new sixth realm, four additional musical stages, fully voiced cinematics, and an expanded soundtrack composed by Christophe Heral and Grant Kirkhope.
Rayman Legends Retold is scheduled to launch on October 1, 2026, for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The PC version will feature Denuvo DRM protection.
