Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Trailer Features Fresh Gameplay, Iconic Locations, and Returning Characters
During Sony's State of Play presentation, developers unveiled a brand-new gameplay trailer for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a full-scale remake of the original Tomb Raider. Along with the fresh footage, it was officially confirmed that the game’s launch window has shifted to early 2027.
The latest trailer puts Lara Croft back in action with modernized parkour mechanics, high-stakes platforming, puzzle-solving, and her signature dual-pistol gunplay. The footage highlights iconic locations built from the ground up, including snow-dusted ruins, Egyptian tombs, and the legendary Lost Valley of Peru. Longtime fans will also spot key figures from the 1996 classic, such as Jacqueline Natla and Larson. To top it all off, the trailer closes with a thrilling look at the franchise's famous dinosaurs.
Co-developed by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog on Unreal Engine 5, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is officially scheduled to release on February 12, 2027. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
