Silent Hill: Townfall Gets an Official Release Date and Gripping New Gameplay Trailer
Konami and developer Screen Burn have officially announced the release date for Silent Hill: Townfall, which is set to launch on September 24, 2026. Alongside the announcement, the team debuted a terrifying new gameplay trailer.
Silent Hill: Townfall is a first-person psychological horror game set in 1996 within an isolated corner of Scotland. The narrative follows Simon Ordell as he is called back to the island of St. Amelia to "put things right". Players will explore haunting environments, evade horrific threats, and survive with scarce resources. A core gameplay mechanic revolves around a pocket CRTV device, which players must use to manually tune into radio frequencies to detect monsters and progress through the story. While combat is included, the developers are heavily emphasizing stealth and tactical player choice.
Silent Hill: Townfall is being developed for PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5.
