Bloober Team has announced SAW: Genesis, a brand-new multiplayer horror game set in the iconic Saw universe. The game's official page has already gone live on Steam.
SAW: Genesis features short, 3v1 asymmetrical multiplayer matches. One player steps into the role of the ruthless Jigsaw-style Judge, while the other three play as the Convicts. Unlike traditional slashers in other horror games, the Judge is physically weak and cannot overpower survivors in direct combat. Instead, the Judge relies on intellect—setting deadly traps, deploying hallucinogenic gas, and summoning accomplices. The villain's ultimate goal is not just to kill, but to "rehabilitate" the Convicts through suffering. Meanwhile, the survivors must work together, hunt for hidden clues, and solve puzzles to escape a procedurally generated maze.
The game is set to launch in Steam Early Access in late 2026. Console versions have not been announced.
